Thought I would throw in a few pics of some fall things in the house. I made this little scarecrow, from a Jackie Schmidt pattern. I added the raffia. .
This crow & pumpkin garland was made by my husband & me out of old barn roofing . My husband is pretty good with the tin snips. I told him what shapes I wanted & he cut them out for me. I painted them & added the wire & the homespun. It hangs above our back door.

what a beautiful blog you have, looks like you are ready for fall, come by and say "hi" and enter my giveaway

Love your fall decor! I don't know what to clean brass with, but hubby says you can use a paste of baking soda & water. Worth a try, anyway.
ReplyDeleteGreat pics!!! I just love the scarecrow.
ReplyDeleteSeems to me that Carolyn is right about the baking soda and water. I have brass items but I don't like to clean them. I like the old wornout look. I'm thinking that for copper there some other easy home remedy cleaning mix I saw. Oh wait it was on a decorating show they used ketchup... LOL They used it on a back splash. Worth a try I guess on the bottom. LOL.
